NARRATION analyzes the principle of storytelling not only through artistic practice, but also as a form of interpersonal communication. In six connected Topics divided - The Setting, The Situation, The Narrator, The Approach, The Past, The Construct - NARRATION narrates of the elements that allow words and pictures and any Structural feature to form every form of a story.

International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (World Premiere)

"Kritisch kommentierte Lars Henrik Gass die Entwicklung an deutschen Filmhochschulen, so wie er sie über die Einreichungen zum deutschen und NRW-Wettbewerb wahrnimmt: Es sei „bedenklich“, wie sehr die Hochschulen inzwischen ihre Studenten auf „standardisierte Formate“ trimmten.
Einige Beiträge der Auswahl entstanden daher außerhalb der Filmakademien und etablierter Förderstrukturen. Ein Beispiel sei „Narration“ von Thomas Taube – mit 45 Minuten der längste Film dieser Kurzfilmtage. Er entstand nämlich an der Hochschule für Gestaltung in Leipzig – „und die hatten wir überhaupt noch nicht auf dem Schirm“, gibt der Festivalleiter zu." WAZ
